Our flap-sorter project in Sarawak, Malaysia, completed installation and commissioning and entered operation.
The project recorded a sorting rate of about 8,000 pieces per hour, and manual staffing at this site was adjusted. Other sites require their own capacity and staffing assessment based on parcel mix, shift arrangement and operating process.
At this site, we configured tray carriers, destination chutes and control interfaces around the customer’s operating flow. Equipment dimensions and feeding method depend on the parcels handled.
For new projects, we review package samples, peak-hour volume, route count, floor plan and maintenance access before confirming a suitable line design.
